BurnTurn Poker is bringing in industry outsiders to complete the launch of its Bitcoin-operated poker platform, introducing an online poker experience that stands out from other Bitcoin poker rooms, according to reports.

Formed in 2013, BurnTurn recently acquired Satoshi Poker and will be using the latter’s technology and established customer base to unveil its revamped Bitcoin poker site. However, it is designed to make the players feel the action instead of giving them the experience typical of Bitcoin poker sites online.

“I intentionally brought in people who were industry outsiders because I wanted to create a persona that diverged from the typical images of bright lights, half-naked women and distracting banners,” BurnTurn CEO Ragnar Del Torres said in a published interview. “I worked closely with an illustrator to create custom artwork that gives the site a graphic novel-like feel.”

Meanwhile, powering its platform is the open source software that BurnTurn is known for. Del Torres affirmed that the software will be, indeed, open source in order to foster a transparent environment for players and will serve as the basis of its security protocols mainly focused on protection of funds.

He also revealed that his new Bitcoin gambling platform will not restrict anyone who wishes to experience the kind of Bitcoin poker betting BurnTurn will be rolling out. As a matter of fact, he advised interested poker enthusiasts to use tested encryption methods to guarantee privacy.

It is not a secret, however, that he and his team faced technical challenges that involved software development with the creation of the new Bitcoin platform. This had caused them to devote time and resources to devise BurnTurn’s Bitcoin payment processing to become efficient and reliable to guarantee a secure environment.

With Satoshi Poker’s inability to promptly credit its players, which eventually led to its sale, Del Torres emphasized that such a scenario will be nonexistent in the new platform since this aspect is his top priority.

BurnTurn has not announced an exact date of the release of its new Bitcoin poker room, but it has been consistent in stating that the BurnTurn Poker beta launch will take place later this year. Free Bitcoin poker giveaways are also expected to be offered on the site as it joins the rest of the previously launched poker rooms like Infinity Poker.
