Betcoin Poker Suits Up for Competition, Shares WPN Tournaments

Betcoin Poker

Bitcoin-operated online poker room Betcoin Poker has tapped the gambling services of Winning Poker Network (WPN), enabling its players to join the network-wide Sit and Gos and multi-table tournaments, and therefore, fare better in the competition in the Bitcoin poker sector.

The renewed relationship of WPN and Betcoin Poker increased the number of tournaments that can be accessed through the latter’s platform. Although Betcoin Poker has been using the WPN software client to power up its website, it was only recently that it incorporated the SnGs and MTTs hosted on the network.

As a result, the addition of the WPN poker tournaments broadened the Bitcoin gambling services offered by Betcoin Poker, which hopes to compete with the leading Bitcoin-only poker room SealsWithClubs that is reported to have about 100 cash game seats available.

Betcoin Poker, a vital part of Betcoin Casino, on the other hand, still needs to beef up its cash game tables after it had opted to first focus on the integration of the tournaments.

Although the most logical step to take by a top-spot contender is to also share cash games, a Betcoin representative clarified that incorporating the WPN cash games entails certain challenges that require more from the Bitcoin poker platform. Whereas with the tournaments, Betcoin Poker simply had to enable the option to buy chips using bitcoins.

With its player pool able to access the WPN tournaments, Betcoin Poker now promotes among its Bitcoin gambling enthusiasts the monthly WPN $100K guaranteed tournament that is set on July 13.

Meanwhile, WPN’s leading poker room Americas Cardroom addressed the growing demand for Bitcoin by allowing deposits using the digital currency at the beginning of this year. However, unlike Betcoin Poker, players using Bitcoin cannot benefit from instant withdrawals since this feature has not been implemented yet.

The new WPN SnGs and MTTs added to Betcoin Poker are expected to drive more players to its poker room—an aspect that proves to be instrumental in transforming to become the leader of the online Bitcoin poker sector. Likewise, this may soon witness the largest poker winner in the next tournaments to come.
