Ignition Poker Review (2021)

Ignition Poker offers a solid mix of poker cash games and tournaments. Presently, they only spread Texas Hold’em, Omaha, and Omaha Hi-Lo. Cash games consist of heads-up, six-handed, and full ring games. They also offer Zone Poker, which is Ignition’s version of fast-fold Texas Hold’em.

For tournaments, Ignition offers standard Sit & Go tournaments along with Jackpot Sit & Go tournaments. For Jackpot Sit & Gos, you can win up to 72,000 by defeating just two opponents.

For poker tournaments, you’ll find events appropriate for all bankrolls. They offer solid guarantees with the average top guarantee around $125,000. On occasion, you’ll find games with guarantees of up to $500,000.

The biggest advantage to playing at Ignition Poker is anonymous tables. Rather than a username, you are seated anonymously with no way to track your play long-term. Players have to try and figure out your play as they go rather than using computer software to track and rank your play.

Software Features & Graphics

Ignition Poker uses proprietary software for their online poker room. The website design is somewhat simplistic, and the layout of the poker room and isn’t very user friendly. It has a modified tab design with everything down the left side rather than across the top, like many online poker rooms.

Graphics for this poker room is very generic. You don’t get to set up avatars or get to do much in the way of customization. Honestly, this poker room looks more like something you’d see back in the early days of online poker rather than in 2020.

Account

To play at Ignition Poker, you must sign up for an Ignition Casino account. Go to the Ignition Casino main website and click Join to register for your account. This is a standard registration, requiring your name, email, date of birth, mobile phone number, and zip code. You will also create your password.

After sending your information, you will receive a confirmation email. Activate your account via this email. After you activate your account, you can log into Ignition Poker.

Ignition Poker allows you to make deposits using both fiat and cryptocurrencies. For crypto, your options are Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash. To deposit using one of these cryptos, log into your account, head to account settings, and click deposit.

From there, you can choose to deposit using Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash. Note that your deposit will be converted to fiat for use on the poker site. The minimum deposit for Ignition Poker is $10. However, if you want to claim any bonuses, you will have to deposit at least $20. Deposits credit to your account after a single confirmation.

The bonus is released to you based on the number of Ignition Miles points you earn. For every 150 points earned, you get $5 of your bonus. You have 30 days from when you deposit to unlock your bonus.

Ignition Poker also offers several ongoing promotions. In Texas Hold’em cash games, if you hit a Royal Flush using both of your hole cards, you will get a bonus payout of 50x the big blind. The bonus does not have a rollover requirement.

You can also play for the Bad Beat Bonus in cash games. If you lose with a hand of aces full of kings or better, you will get a bad beat bonus of 1,000x the big blind up to $1,000. Both hole cards must be used in the hand.

Mobile Games

Ignition Poker no longer requires that you install a mobile app to play on their site. Instead, you can play directly from your mobile web browser. The site will allow you to play up to four tables at once on mobile.

Ignition recommends you have iPhone 4 or up for iOS devices to play their software. We recommend that you play using Google Chrome or Safari for the best mobile gaming experience.

There you will find various FAQs that can provide answers for a wide variety of topics.
